The Coffee Table Book | Products | Sandy Keys Photography
Posted on February 8, 2010
The Coffee Table Book is quickly becoming my most popular product. All or most of your session images collected into one beautifully bound book. What a wonderful way to tell a story of a day in your life.
Styles and designs are endless! I’ve got dozens of templates and quotes that I use in these books, so that no two books are ever the same. Each book is custom designed to match the style of your images. The cover displays one of your session images and comes in a soft satin finish.
Books come with a base of 10 pages / 20 sides, however, more pages can be added if desired. The pages are heavy card stock in a beautiful fine linen finish. Very high quality! Choose between a 10″x10″ or an 8″x8″ book. You’ll love the square shape.
Images are big and bold! You’ll love them, I promise! I usually sprinkle the book with quotes that pertain to the session style, but they can also be personalized with words of your choice as well …. names, ages, places, etc. These books are meant to tell your story, whatever that may be!
The Coffee Table Book looks positively gorgeous standing on a shelf or table in an iron or wooden easel. A piece of art and a book all rolled into one. And they’re portable. Take them with you to show off to family and friends. They are a real conversation piece.
All your images contained and ready to display right out of the box. No framing, no hanging. Perfect.
Samples will be available at your session to see and touch. I think it’s so important to be able to see the actual product. Photos just don’t do these products justice.
I’ve got another book coming in today! I’m so excited! This book is for a senior girl and is very unique. When my “hand model” (haha) gets home from school this afternoon, I’ll snap some pics of it and post it tomorrow. I can’t wait to see it!

New Product: The Accordion Wallet Book | Sandy Keys Photography
Posted on February 7, 2010
I’ve got a great new addition to my product list this year, The Accordion Wallet Book! It’s the cutest little book you’ve ever held in your hands. Trust me, you’re gonna love it! Even the men love it! lol
This little gem is a 3″x3″ square when folded up, but opens up to display 10 of your favorite photo session images! The cover features a session image as well, and comes with a beautiful metallic finish that shimmers in the sun. Very cool! The inside pages are heavy card stock and are protected with a lovely fine linen finish.
I have to admit that this little book was difficult to photograph due to the metallic and linen finish, but you get the general idea. I will have samples at photo sessions for you to hold and see. So no worries, you can see all it’s cuteness in person!
At 3″x3″ folded up, this little book is perfect to tuck into your pocket, purse or backpack to show off to your co-workers, family and friends! I bet you they’ve never seen anything like it!
I have an array of design templates to choose from and will match your book to the style of your images and your session. They are completely customizable.
A really cool feature is the hidden magnetic closure. When these books are folded up, they stay shut, all by themselves! It’s pretty awesome! And you can stick them on a file cabinet, your fridge … anything metal. A picture and book all in one!
The Accordion Wallet Book comes in a set of 3 books (all the same), and are currently selling for $60. So, that’s basically $20 per book. 3 books, one for you and 2 for someone else … say parents or grandparents. Wouldn’t they be thrilled to get one of these cuties!
I love it so much … no lie … that I open it every day and admire it. It just makes me smile.

Expecting | Maternity Portrait Photographer, Newton, NC
Posted on February 5, 2010
On Wednesday, Mother Nature cooperated and allowed me to drive out to the home of the { L } family and finally get their maternity session in. Thank Goodness! Mommy { L } is due on the 16th! We were really cutting it close! I had envisioned images of mommy-to-be sitting in the grass with her hubby, laying down flat to show off her beautiful belly, etc., but that’s sorta hard to do when the ground is covered in slushy wet snow! So we improvised. The snow was so bright, it was just one giant glare. So, we sought out any shade we could find for some outdoor shots. Then we moved indoors. Now, you know, indoors has never really been my thing. But I’m learning! I bought some lights and umbrellas and I’m pretty pleased with how these turned out! I’m so grateful to the { L } family for working with me as I, not only learn the art of maternity photography, but indoor photography as well! They were wonderful sports. Even Big-Sister-To-Be { Miss M }!
There’s alot of images here … I just couldn’t decide which to show.
Big Sister {Miss M} wanted a couple of pics of just her. She requested her photos to be taken in the snow. lol Isn’t she cute?!
I {{{ puffy heart }}} this one!
Here we are inside. Lights, camera, action!! Not bad!!
I’m thrilled and flattered to have been invited back to photograph their precious baby boy in a couple of weeks. This will be my very first newborn as well. So another learning experience for me. Indoors, lights and a newborn baby … how exciting!
Thank you so much { L Family } for allowing me to come hang out and capture some special memories for you. It was a real pleasure. See you again in a couple of weeks!

Just a quick sneak peek for the { L } family. I can’t wait to show you the rest!
They’ve only got 12 days left before their precious little boy arrives. Course they’re really on Mother Nature’s schedule and I guess he’ll arrive when he’s good and ready, but it won’t be long before he’s ready to greet the world. I can’t wait to meet him.
